Se si parla di mangiare, deve essere italiano

Well for those who are wondering what is that title all about, its just Italian for " If it is food, It has to be Italian". Firstly all of you need to know a fact  which is "I love Italian food". Being vegetarian hasn't limited me from trying out different cuisines and Italian has slowly become one of my favorite,  Generalizing my love for stuff Italian, I love their wonderful Horror movies, their fantastic football League (Serie a), their traditional motor industry, their mafiasco way of life (though I don't support or appreciate it in anyways), their exotic and landmark tourist locations and best of all their mouth watering cuisines. Below is an account of the places where I have tried Italian cuisine (Bangalore and Bangkok).

A Tenant's Turmoil and a Response for Rambo!!!

In today's blog I will be providing a preview of the upcoming Arsenal home fixture and a review of a movie. That might partly explain the strange title I have chosen.  The Tenant refers to the name of the movie I am going to review and Rambo is the nick name for one of our players who was horribly injured during our last match at Stoke.

Last Saturday Arsenal FC had a horrible outing at Stoke (we won 3 - 1) where we lost one of our very promising midfielder Aaron Ramsey for rest of the season (probably longer) due to a very stupid tackle. He was developing very well this season and chipped in with his quota of goals too. However thuggish English defender Ryan "He is not that type of lad" Shawcross did a leveler on him to cause severe multiple fractures to Ramsey's right foot. He has had 2 fractures, one to his tibia and another to his fibula and expected to be out for atleast 6 months. I wish him (on behalf of all football fans) the most speediest of speedy recovery and all our thoughts are on his well being and ultimate return to the team.

Joy of Shopping!!!

Looking @ something I probably won't need

I am not scared to accept that I love shopping. Even though I don't enjoy it as much when I accompany others for their shopping opposed to my personal shopping, I can understand the pleasure that is derived from doing that purchase.

Shopping according to our conservative Indian culture is not healthy for budgeting of a family and I can understand and empathize with that line of thought. But over the years the world has changed (i know i know ... please bear with me :P ) and shopping has emerged as one wonderful hobby/habit/activity/addiction/stress reliever/...../etc. I am positive that everyone who does shopping has definitely planned for that particular purchase (I am smirking while writing that) in their budget (unless we are talking about addicts). Also many people regret doing a purchase after going through the life cycle of the shopper's experiment (primarily due to the quality of the delivered product)
