Se si parla di mangiare, deve essere italiano

Well for those who are wondering what is that title all about, its just Italian for " If it is food, It has to be Italian". Firstly all of you need to know a fact  which is "I love Italian food". Being vegetarian hasn't limited me from trying out different cuisines and Italian has slowly become one of my favorite,  Generalizing my love for stuff Italian, I love their wonderful Horror movies, their fantastic football League (Serie a), their traditional motor industry, their mafiasco way of life (though I don't support or appreciate it in anyways), their exotic and landmark tourist locations and best of all their mouth watering cuisines. Below is an account of the places where I have tried Italian cuisine (Bangalore and Bangkok).

A Tenant's Turmoil and a Response for Rambo!!!

In today's blog I will be providing a preview of the upcoming Arsenal home fixture and a review of a movie. That might partly explain the strange title I have chosen.  The Tenant refers to the name of the movie I am going to review and Rambo is the nick name for one of our players who was horribly injured during our last match at Stoke.

Last Saturday Arsenal FC had a horrible outing at Stoke (we won 3 - 1) where we lost one of our very promising midfielder Aaron Ramsey for rest of the season (probably longer) due to a very stupid tackle. He was developing very well this season and chipped in with his quota of goals too. However thuggish English defender Ryan "He is not that type of lad" Shawcross did a leveler on him to cause severe multiple fractures to Ramsey's right foot. He has had 2 fractures, one to his tibia and another to his fibula and expected to be out for atleast 6 months. I wish him (on behalf of all football fans) the most speediest of speedy recovery and all our thoughts are on his well being and ultimate return to the team.

Joy of Shopping!!!

Looking @ something I probably won't need

I am not scared to accept that I love shopping. Even though I don't enjoy it as much when I accompany others for their shopping opposed to my personal shopping, I can understand the pleasure that is derived from doing that purchase.

Shopping according to our conservative Indian culture is not healthy for budgeting of a family and I can understand and empathize with that line of thought. But over the years the world has changed (i know i know ... please bear with me :P ) and shopping has emerged as one wonderful hobby/habit/activity/addiction/stress reliever/...../etc. I am positive that everyone who does shopping has definitely planned for that particular purchase (I am smirking while writing that) in their budget (unless we are talking about addicts). Also many people regret doing a purchase after going through the life cycle of the shopper's experiment (primarily due to the quality of the delivered product)

Getting nostalgic with Plastic Beach!!!

Yes you saw the title right! I am already feeling nostalgic about an album which is yet to be released (to be released on March 10th in UK). The feeling of nostalgia is primarily due to my heartfelt appreciation of their wonderful music ( from around 2003 even thought their Clint Eastwood was released around 2000) which coincides with my first days in a job. For all of you who don't know what Plastic Beach is and what is this nostalgia all about, I will explain all below.

Is an Armoury at Bangalore a nice initiative?

                          @ARMOURY inside the Emirates Stadium

The Armoury (and yes its not Armory) is Arsenal's (Arsenal Football Club) flagship retail shop. The list of items available are really a consolidated wish-list of almost all things any Arsenal fan would dream of. It is located inside The Emirates Stadium (well the Ashburton Grove Stadium to all gunners) and is a must visit for people visiting on a Match Day. The list of items includes replica kits, tees(men, women & kids), jackets, scarfs, training gears (Nike),souvenirs and other miscellaneous stuff.

Memories of a Master Piece!!!

Today I am going to provide a review on one of my favorite movies. To define the kind of movies I like, I prefer dark, deep, suspenseful, police procedural movie with comical interlude of characters working around a story. I know based on my definition you might feel its a tad impossible to make a movie which I might like, but you can actually relate many of our great movies in this category. Le locataire(Roman Polanski - 1976), Ôdishon(Takashi Miike - 1999), Geu nom moksori(Jin Pyo-Park - 2007), Identity (James Mangold - 2003), Insomnia (Christopher Nolan - 2002), Se7en (David Fincher - 1995) ... etc are all some of my favorite movies.

The Battle at the Dragon's Home

Today's blog will provide a brief preview on the upcoming Champion's League encounter between The Gunners (English Premier League) and FC Porto(Portuguese Liga). This match is played at the round of 16 level in the Champions League. On paper the Portuguese team looks stronger with all the advantage in this leg. They play at Estádio do Dragão (The Dragon Stadium with a capacity of around 50000) present at Porto which provides the hosts with vociferous support during crunch games.

The New Begining!!!

Please allow me to join the wonderful world of blogging. I have been wondering whether or not to start a blog for a few years now but since I enjoyed reading it more than writing it the eventual postponement had to happen. But today I decided "That's It" I'm gonna start a blog. The blog will be mainly focusing about things which are instrumental in making me "Feel Good" since I know there are many blogs out there to vent out the various negativity present in our day-to-day life (which isn't bad by the way) and did not want to have something which is fundamentally pessimistic in nature. The things I would love to write about is Arsenal FC, Football matches, Movies and Reviews, Music and various songs , Internet in general and other information which I feel is worthy enough to share. I hope everyone who read my blog can appreciate the effort and try to be a little respectful towards me. Thank You.
